Twice a month, Shere Village Hall transforms into a cozy, comfortable village cinema, complete with state-of-the-art equipment for top-quality sound and vision, offering the ultimate cinema experience. Run by a team of film enthusiasts dedicated to providing an entertaining night out, this cinema welcomes everyone—from local residents to visitors from afar. It’s a place to enjoy great movies with family and friends, or, if you’re attending solo, a perfect opportunity to meet new people. Plus, with ice cream served during the interval, there’s time to mix and mingle in a warm, community setting.

Craft Fair

Surrey Villages Art & Craft organises craft fairs which showcase truly handmade, local products. There are many craft fairs which allow mass produced or imported items – we wanted to create an event where local artists and craftspeople can display their work. Our stallholders are limited to people who will be selling items that they have created themselves. We also carefully control bookings so that there are not more than two stalls selling the same type of craft.
